         Evan E. Davis

Mr. Evan E. Davis began his
career in the refractory and
banking businesses after
graduating from the College of
Wooster. He served as President
of the Oak Hill Savings Bank from
1974 - 1991 when he became
Chairman of the Board and later
Chairman of the Board of its
holding company, Oak Hill Financial.

Mr Davis joined his father in donating
the site for the James A. Rhodes
Airport in Jackson County. He has
given generously to the University of
Rio Grandee and was instrumental
in the creation and funding of the
Madog Center for Welsh Studies. He was instrumental in founding the only
Welsh-American Museum in the United States, which he chartered in 1972.
He continuously donates to the community where he has lived all his life,
Oak Hill, as well as the entire local area. His family was involved in Jackson-area businesses, such as JISCO, and the firebrick plant which now houses AluChem. His grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. C.L. Brunton lived on South Street in Jackson and he spent a great deal of time there with them.

Mr. Davis embodies the values of hard work, loyalty and community spirit and is respected by all who know him.
